Any type of gear transmission is about converting high speeds into higher torques. Naturally, your gearbox must be reliable, low-noise and energy-efficient. In addition, the issue of power density is playing an increasingly important role.

If your bearings run in oil, the smallest particles in the gearbox could lead to raceway damage. To avoid this, the special heat treatment carbonitriding is a good option. At the same loads, a significantly longer bearing life is achieved. This reduces wear - even in the case of insufficient lubrication.
